We woke up to a clear sky the next morning in Baguio. It’s sunny but not hot. It’s windy but not too much. We started our day early because we have many places we want to visit that day. Better to not waste time! First destination is the Burnham Park which is already in front of our hotel. We just have to cross the street and Voila! It’s Burnham Park right there!
It’s a really big park with an equally big lagoon in the middle of it. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Baguio. You can do tourist-y things in this park such as riding a bike or rowing a boat. Of course, as tourists ourselves, we have to try these activities.
Different types of bikes lined the sidewalk.
Cheese and Strawberry flavored ice cream
After tiring ourselves in riding bikes, we decided to visit the Orchidarium inside the park premises.
WARNING: The following pictures will be of beautiful flowers and plants. If you’re not much fond of plants, I suggest you skip this section. Continue at your own risk. You have been warned. LOL! (Seriously though, don’t skip this part!)
PINK flower, you make me completely happy just by looking at you!
Since we still have time, we also tried our hands on boating. We spent a good 30 minutes to reach the other end of the lagoon and return. There are many kinds of boats to choose from!
Spot Winnie the Pooh!
It’s a nice place to visit in Baguio especially if you just want to spend time with your family. In case you find yourself in the City of Baguio, this is definitely one place you can put in your itinerary. 🙂
